Since 1998, I have been creating pottery in Suemura—believed to be Japan’s oldest ceramics region—located in Osaka. Rooted in the traditions of Momoyama-era styles such as Kizeto, Shino, Oribe, and Karatsu, I craft vessels for food, flower arrangements, tea, and sake—pieces designed to bring a sense of calm and comfort to modern daily life.
