A ceramic artist making vessels that dissolve into daily life and quietly brighten it.
Semi-porcelain, and no stress
Stacking that fits your life

Beyond finding her own voice: vessels that fit daily life without a note out of place
Shimizu's vessels add a quiet touch of color to an ordinary table. Simple, yet with colors that catch the eye, and a feel in the hand that surprises you — how do they come about? Behind the work she arrived at, after a long search for what she could do, lies a thoroughgoing kindness and care toward the person who will use it.
