食卓に「可愛い」を取り入れ、盛り付ける楽しさを
渋いイメージを持たれがちな陶器の概念を変えたいという思いから、パステルカラーの可愛い器を制作しています。食卓にポンと置いてあるだけで空間が一気に明るくなるような器を通じて、料理を盛り付ける楽しさや、毎日の食事がより豊かになるお手伝いができればと願っています。
Pastel colors that genuinely lift the heart
自身も推し活を楽しむ視点から、「この色は私のカラーだ」と愛着を持ってもらえるようなパステルカラーを展開。試行錯誤を重ねて生み出されたピンクや黄色、水色など、心ときめく色合いが特徴です。
Pottery, and yet soft: a rounded, generous form
学生時代から探求し続けている「硬い陶器を如何に柔らかく見せるか」というテーマ。リボンや星のモチーフ、布のようなふわっとした表現など、手に取った時のぽってりとした質感や手馴染みの良さにこだわっています。
Light enough to use, warm from the hand that made it
可愛さやデザイン性だけでなく、日常的に負担なく使える「軽さ」も重視しています。工場生産にはない、ひとつひとつ形や色の具合が異なる手仕事ならではの温もりと、選ぶ楽しさを感じられる器です。

A warm remark in high school — you have a talent for this — was what pushed Nishi into ceramics. What she arrived at was a fabric-like softness held in hard pottery, and pastel colors that brighten a table at a glance.
