A brush stroke technique called hakeme is used on the inside and a unique line pattern called senmon is used on the outside of the pieces, giving each piece its own unique character.

A transparent glaze is used to bring out the natural color of the clay.

This product is fired at over 1200 degrees and made from red clay, which contains a high iron content. 

 This design can enhance the beauty of any meal from a wide range of cuisines, including Western and Japanese food.
