Crafted from semi-porcelain clay, each piece is made using a potter's wheel and fired at temperatures above 1200°C with a delicate glaze application. It features a soft, watercolor-like appearance, characterized by a gentle and subtle tone.
Kasumi (Mist) – Inspired by the mist (or fog) that envelops the mountains. My family’s home is at the base of Mount Rokko in Hyogo Prefecture, and I remember how, when the fog settles over the mountain, the trees seem to breathe. It’s a peaceful scene from the quiet mornings.
