[About the work]

I use semi-porcelain clay and create my pieces on a potter's wheel. I apply glaze and fire them at over 1200℃.

It has a pale impression, like a watercolor painting.

Mist...

It's like a mist hanging over a mountain. My family home is at the foot of Mount Rokko in Hyogo Prefecture.

When the mist hangs over the mountains, the trees seem to breathe. It's a quiet morning scene.

●Since the glaze used has a soft texture, if you rub it with something hard such as metal, metal streaks may remain.
