This handmade ceramic plate features a flat, unwarped form with intricate hand-carved lines. The design draws inspiration from natural and urban landscapes—branching trees, roots, cracks in concrete, and lightning paths—expressed with subtle depth and elegance.
The lines are carefully carved with a rounded metal stylus, then covered with glaze and hand-painted using a fine brush. The result is a softly blurred, organic texture that brings quiet character to every dish.
Whether used for desserts, appetizers, or as a base for sake or tea vessels, this versatile plate elevates both Japanese and Western-style meals.

To prevent staining from dark liquids, we recommend pre-use sealing (medome).
Always dry thoroughly after use to avoid mold around the unglazed foot.
